Just listened to Cohen's attorney and he's cautioned all to reserve judgement until the charges, which he believes are substantial, become known to the public. Apparently this was a unanimous decision by the grand jury knowing full well of the political and historical peculiarities of the case...

Gotta laugh at Levin, Dershowitz and the rest when they've already decided the case without hearing the charges first...

I guess I'm agreeing with you - LOL.

At latest count,  there are reportedly around 34 counts that appear in the Trump indictment. And of these, of course, Levin, Dershowitz and yourself have reviewed exactly:
A, Zero
B, One
C, Three, or one apiece
D, Didn't know there were that many
E, A&D

Hmm, anybody wonder what the answer is?...

Really? The Trump legal team thought the grand jury was on hiatus and the DA had backed-off...

That's a bit too rational of an explanation.
Haven't you heard? It's George Soros' doing:

Maybe they should be looking at Jared, too:
"Jared Kushner’s private equity fund has received hundreds of millions of dollars in investments from the UAE and Qatar, according to a report."
"Kushner, son-in-law to former President Trump, was the administration’s adviser tasked with policy in the Middle East, including delivering a peace plan between Israel and Palestine."
"According to The New York Times, the investments, which follow a similar cash injection from Saudi Arabia’s wealth fund, raise concerns about how those close to the Trump administration have profited off of their former government roles."

We'll know soon enough if the prosecution has any merit.

My worst nightmare is that the prosecution does have a flimsy case.  A lot of foreign heads of state are worried about that too, according to the BBC.  Jim

p.s.  My actual worst nightmare is nuclear war, and according to the BBC and NPR, China has announced plans to quadruple their nuclear arsenal by 2034.  Our CNN and Fox missed that story.  A lot of news about Taiwan's visit too.  China is unhappy.  But China is apparently not giving Putin what he wants either, so that is good.  Also much discussion on NPR about Netanyahu's attempt to castrate the Israeli court system.  A naked power grab.  Rod, what do your sources think?  Apparently Bibi stepped back from the brink, but the issue is still there.  All kinds of other important news out today, but you would not know it today, listening to CNN or Fox.

Agreed, and pretty much in line with the sources you've noted. Bibi is overstepping on this one, to be sure, but I hope he finally backs off on this one.
On a similar level, this reminds me of what we're seeing now, with the house GOP leadership and various notable GOP leaders elsewhere condemning Alvin Bragg before they even know what the counts are and threatening to take steps against him. Their actions threaten the independence of a judicial system in much the same manner as with Bibi...

I understand that but my point is they are undermining the public's perception of the judicial system with their reckless and baseless charges...
