What is becoming of our Universities in this Nation.. Better yet, what kind of immature babies are attending our Universities.

And in another "win" for free speech:
"A federal judge in Texas last week ruled that Llano County officials must return more than a dozen books they had banned and removed from the county’s library shelves during 2021."
"In his ruling, Pitman said, “Defendants removed the books at issue to prevent access to viewpoints and content to which they objected.” He added that he does not think the defendants’ reasons for removing the books would “pass constitutional muster."

Hopefully, we'll see more decisions along these lines...

“Supreme Court justices have some of the least strict ethics rules of any public officials, and Clarence Thomas can’t even meet that extremely low bar. If he can’t be trusted to follow even the most basic rules of conduct, how can anyone trust him to interpret the most important laws of the land?”
"Under a federal law passed in the wake of the Watergate scandal, Supreme Court justices and other top government officials are required to file annual financial disclosures. The justices in those reports are required to disclose gifts unless they fall under certain exceptions, and ProPublica reported that Thomas’s trips appeared to violate those rules."

Does Hunter Biden occupy any governmental or judicial office? Of course not. He's been investigated for years without any legal repercussions and the only one that seems to be an issue is potential tax liabilities. What about Jared's billions from the Saudi's and the UAE while he was in an official capacity in the WH? Obviously, the deflections fail on their merits...

I see Thomas's gift of friendship from a GOP mega donor amounts to a half a mil for a voyage on a fully staffed luxury yacht not to mention the other amenities, trips on private jets and the like, all of which went unreported on his financial disclosures. According to the GOP mega donor, it's just friends being friends. Afterall doesn't everybody do that?
Rules for thee but not for me...

Clarence actually responded by saying, well it wasn't reportable at the time even though it is now!

And who were some of his chums on the trip(s)? Movers and shakers of a conservative think tank, that's who. I'm sure they were all just commenting on how great the coffee was...

Well, perhaps that rule was implemented because a particular judge had a pension for not knowing that it was wrong in the first place. Watch the video produced by Thomas in the middle of the link wherein he proclaims he likes "RVing in Walmart parking lots to RVing in beaches and things like that because he's normal stock":

The fact is that Greg just burned your ass and You know it.
Actually you and Greg missed the point completely as it blew right by both of you.
Up till now, nothing of the magnitude of what Thomas did occurred with any other member of the court at anytime. It's a safe bet that he didn't describe in any detail the degree of the value of the various vacations that he failed to disclose to anyone. All he did was ask if a trip provided by a friend would be in conflict with the court. He didn't provide the estimated value, for example, of one such trip equating to a $500,000 valuation on any disclosure form. Nor did he disclose those accompanying him were influential members of a conservative think tank...
