No RD, its based upon various retired judges interviewed who have stated Clarence's vacation revelations far exceed the norms for reporting procedures. What Clarence has done is unprecedented in the courts:
"In the past, lodging and food provided on someone’s property has been exempted from disclosure requirements, but transportation, which Thomas accepted, has not been. Per ProPublica, the “extent and frequency” of gifts that Thomas received from Republican megadonor Harlan Crow — which included flights on private jets and trips on luxury yachts — have “no known precedent in the modern history of the U.S. Supreme Court.”
"Thomas’s lack of disclosure about these trips is a clear violation of government ethics law, legal experts told Vox. Federal judges, including Supreme Court justices, are required to disclose such gifts under the Ethics in Government Act, which establishes rules for federal officials regarding what’s acceptable. The more significant issue here is not whether what Thomas did was legal. It doesn't seem like he broke any rules or did anything illegal. It is, however, highly unethical, and we should all expect more from our Supreme Court members. After all, respect and admiration for the Supreme Court from the American people are essential to effective compliance with its decision.

It is not unreasonable to expect our Supreme Court members to behave highly ethically. I find it a bit ridiculous that anyone is making excuses for Thomas' behavior, regardless if it's legal or not, and irrespective of any whataboutery supporters want to come up with.

I'll put it this way: if Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson had taken the same vacations, courtesy of George Soros, and disclosed them, she would be the subject of a special investigation held on Easter Sunday by Jim Jones and Kevin McCarthy...

Every other judge in th US have rules of ethics to abide by, but not our supremes. I think congress should legislate to force judicial ethics on them, but can’t see that happening with these bozos in charge of the house.

Well, the reporting requirement is $1000.00 so he is required to disclose it. Whether or not Roberts will do what he should have done and that is to establish a mechanism to investigate it or anything like it remains to be seen.

The Democrat candidate outspent the Republican candidate by a 5-1 Margin.

That's what happened. 

The problem isn't the Republican candidate, it is guys like you everywhere who have massive TDS.  

When your party doesn't give a damn about abortion, and candidates are put forth by people whose main issue is "we want to kill as many babies in the womb as is humanly possible", and the voters in Wisconsin agree with that, then they'll vote for the party of Death as you do.  

Its stupid people who still believe all the lies the left tells them and then they vote with the left, just as you did, so the solution is for those like you to then look inward and quit blaming someone else.
