Basics? Hmmm Learn your camera, Learn your scope, seperatly. If you have not already done so. Your scope is just another lens that you will adapt to low light photography. So learn the the two and get to understand the basics of light and how it works, you will have an easier time of understanding the priciples. I highly recomend the CD book photoshop for astrophotographers (i forget the author) Its all explained in there. He is very thourough.
Do you have the apropriate adapters to mount scope to camera?
Are you able to take pictures with just your camera?
You need to learn to use its manual mode and if it has a bulb setting, do you have a cable release? Whats the longest lens you have?
Are you able to point you scope at a target? (and hit it) terestrial or astronomical? do you know how to align the finder scope, Get a redot finder if you find it easier. There are many variables, all of them important to understand and makes it all come together when mastered.

I set up a bird feeder and a scope (when testing terestial stuff) And shoot birds. This is interesting and you will leard to combine the camera and scope in daylight, this will tune you motor skills to operate in the dark. Scenic stuff is great too but there is no place in the city (for me anyway).
As fo astronomy Shoot the moon and learn to bracket exposures,the moon is easy to shoot with your mount. The moon is most interesting when in phases More of less boring when full. Try some bright nighttime objects.
Don't be hard on yourself at first. Expect many bad images. Its digital, learn from them and move on. Things like out of focus, camera shake, bad light, coma and many other flukes that make your image bad.

Hello, I am an RN and see what drugs do to people. I work in a busy ER in a major city. The only drug that should be considered is Marijuana, it has proven medical uses and can relieve pain and anxiety associated with MS and other neurological disorders. It also eases severe nausea and other bad effects of chemotherapy, one thing that cancer patients need to do is eat. Pot has a way of stirring up "The Munchies" and cancer patients can then eat. Marijuana is non addictive. In contrast, Alcohol is legal and it is taxed, it benefits no one. Alcohol shatters lives. Yet it is "legal". So maybe distillers should be executed?
I don't like dealers either, I have seen more gruesome murders over a bag of weed. Never an overdose of pot. And plenty of alcohol related violence and innocent victims die in alcohol related MVA's (motor vehicle accident's, it goes on and on....

Just food for thought.
