Which 2 of 3 AP scopes you will choose.

Posted By Eddie Ho

Let's say you have been waiting long enough for 105,130 & 155 AP scopes (That means you are finally sending your first born child to kindergarden). And let's say you are limited to choose only 2 of the 3 scopes. Which 2 you will chose. I know there are many many reasons for your decision basis. But I'll just like to hear from you fellows.

Longest focal length EP for binoviewing?

Posted By Eddie Ho

What is the lowest power/widest Fov EP to use for binoviewing? I presently use a pair of Meade 32mm Plossl on the TV binoviewer. Is there anything wider then that? I am all ears. Thanks.

I remember I worked long hours back then ..

I remembered some very long works hours I had in the 80's. Let's give this guy a break. He has been putting his QC touch on the factory floor to assure that all of us get an heirloom grade machine.

Protective bag for TEC 140

Posted By Eddie Ho

I have come across a Bogen 35" Protective Bag from B&H (NYC). Although I do not have any experience with the ScoapeGuard case which I know will definately better protect the scope, but this Bogen bag's padding is adequate for a trunk ride. It even has a shoulder belt for you to carry around and make it a truly portable scope. What I like about this bag are:
1. $89.95. Can't beat that!
2. It fits the TEC-140+tube rings+saddle plate perfectly. And I do not mean to use the term "perfect" excessively. If you put the scope in and close the zipper around the contour you'll know what I mean. It's like putting the best diaper for your beloved baby.
3. The overall size tend to be smallish compare with a hard case. It will get less attention from the lady of the house.
