Hi folks,

I just found this form and wanted to share my latest shot. I'm still a beginner at this hobby/obsession, only been at it for just over a year and have had to work with a limited budget. Until recently! smile I've been saving my lunch money and just purchased a GPDX w/SS2kPC. It should be here any day now. I'm hoping to be able to extend my exposure time and reach even deeper than what I have been able to with my current setup. Next, time to start saving for a cure for aperture fever! smile

Anyways, This shot was taken with a Celestron G5 @ f3.3 on a CG5 modified with an AutoStar. Camera was a VestaPro 690 web cam modified for long exposure and pelt cooling. This image is the sum of 108 30 sec exposures out of 265. I've got pretty bad PE on the CG5. Images acquired in K3CCDTools and stacked in Registax. PhotoShop was used to tweak the levels and blend in a shorter exposure stack for the burnt out core. Then resized to 70% of the original size.

You can check out my web site for info on the mods and other objects I've shot.

Thanks for looking and I would love to hear any critiques you guys might have.
