Calcium Flux tubes

Posted By Apollo Lasky

I am the only amateur in the world capturing flux tubes in calcium light,  These are regularly seen in hydrogen alpha however.

I developed my own filter system to obtain this ability.  I call it the Skybender.

Thanks Rod,

I do not upload these to astromart; the links are pasted from other webservers such as flickr and spaceweather.

A higher resolution achieved with celestron Luminos 2.5x barlow

Posted By Apollo Lasky

I recently upgraded to the celestron luminos 2.5x, 2" barlow and i must say it is without a doubt the best barlow on the market.  A whole new world compared to the televue powermate in fact, at just $136.00 new.

I give a perfect  5 stars out of 5 stars, and it is more than likely discontinued; so get one while you can.
