Batch Contrast Adjust

Hello all,

I'm trying to make simple nightsky movies (mpegs) from my Canon digicam. Everything works well enough, but I don't have a good program to batch-adjust the contrast and brightness on several hundred jpegs. Anyone have suggestions? I prefer freeware, but I don't mind paying a small fee if the stuff works.

I've just bought a Lumix GF1 camera and am slowly trying to use it for astrophotography - wide field w/ camera lens for now, will try prime focus later. The exposure is limited to 256 seconds (not ideal) but there is a 10x LCD magnification for manual focusing which is very helpful. Anyone else doing astrophotography with the GF1 or GH1?

Close focus t-adapter alternative

I've got a very nice scope with one problem - the focuser won't quite reach focus w/a std t-adapter. It's really close, maybe only 2mm off, but it just won't focus. Anyone have suggestions on how to mate a 1.25" prime focus adapter onto a micro43 camera (Lumix GF1) but slightly closer than the std position?
