Celestron Nexstar 4SE hand control diedPosted By Harlan Gilbert |
I bought a used Celestron 4SE. It powered up initially, and when I got to the alignment menu, I paused since it was still broad day.
At the first opportunity with clear skies, I brought it back outside and discovered that it does not power up. The batteries are good, and I tried changing them out just in case. No go.
What would make a controller die from one day to another?
I'm not sure how the models are designated, but the controller appears to be the original one used in models from 2005.
Note: I also posted this question on a Cloudy Nights Forum. Hoping someone knows something on one or the other forum.
