Hi,
I'm looking to upgrade the diagonal on a StarMax 127, but need to keep the cost reasonable. The TV diagonals are certainly desirable, but a bit pricey for me right now. Does anyone own, or has anyone tried, the Stellarvue Enhanced 90 degree mirror diagonal? It seems to be the same price as the Orion mirror diagonal that other 127 owners get to upgrade their scopes.

Thanks
Dan

I'm going to be doing some traveling with my Canon 15x50 IS binoculars and I'd like to have some sort of protection for the front elements. I understand the arguement against compromising image quality, and I could just buy something cheap to put on the front while in transit, then remove them for observing. After having the binocs out in a heavy mist this weekend, I'm thinking a pair of high-quality multicoated UV filters to leave on while observing might be a good idea. Is anyone doing anything like this? Any feedback on degradation of image quality? Thanks.
