Taking a poll for a Mars Star Party......

Posted By Brian Reynolds

How does everyone feel about attending a star party geared specifically for Mars observation/photographing in or around the Winter Star Party area? Weekends can be flexible either side (week) of the new Moon (although I'm told that you could be there during a full Moon and it wouldn't hurt). Need to know soon, since it takes time to put one of these together and time is not on our side. Maybe the Cedar Key area might be available to all of us. It even has a name: WSPSE (pronounced "wispy"). The SE stands for either a). Special Edition or b). Summer Edition. Let me know here or e-me at: [email protected]. I'll check back soon!

We need to get as much feedback as possible on this. Astrophotographers especially. Would you, or your clubs, be willing to attend a Mars Star Party at, or near, the WSP site in the Keys? Mid-August to mid-September range. All feedback welcome. You can also e-me at: [email protected] for additional suggestions.

I realize this isn't quite the place for this, but we need as much feedback as possible on this one. Would you, or your clubs, be willing to attend a special edition of the Winter Star Party held at, or near the WSP site in the Keys? Mid-August to mid-September range is the prefrred window for this spectacular, once-in-a-lifetime showing of Mars. You may leave feedback here or e-me at: [email protected]. Thanks for your time and input!
