Brass compression rings to hold eyepieces are wonderful. I would ask anyone using setscrews to remove and examine the ends of the setscrews for ridges or other bad finishing. Some can be awful. File them down to a smooth, flat, maybe slightly rounded shape, to prevent those nasty little dents or crescent rings on your eyepiece barrels. (Be careful not to damage the threads - they should still reinstall easily.) When you sell your eyepieces you won't have to apologize for them and the buyers will appreciate the undamaged barrels.
