Ive been using a Nikon Manual SLR 35mm camera for a few months now. Sunday I bought a Nikon Coolpix 3100 3.2megapixel Digital Camera. The more I learn to use, the more I love it.

Its got some features Im having issues with, like apparently no way to turn the "autofocus" off, and I need to find a way to mount it to the scope. (right now Im just holding it up to the eyepiece, which is fine for the moon, but when I get serious, its not going to be a good way of doing things haha).

Ive been playing with a camera I just bought sunday, trying to learn how to use it right. Heres two photos of my pet bird (who loves to help me set up my telescope)

Took a picture of my Telescope with the new camera, and got this. The Camera is a Nikon Coolpix 3100. The orignal is over 1MB large, and is my new desktop background. (This picture is "slightly" reduced in size of course, for those of you 56k users)
