SCAM ALERT. Looked like a legit AD with selling history. The person name used was ANGELOS KECHAGIAS email [email protected]
The AD was for ZWO AM5 Harmonic Equatorial Mount. I paid the amount listed. They communicated for a day until I paid the shipping.
The account and AD is now deleted from ASTROMART. Xmas gift for my son, what a shame. It looks like they knew I could file a claim on the amount of the purchase but the shipping was asked paid "friends. So at best they got the shipping cost. However I wasted two days on this mess. I wish Astromart would verify email addresses before giving out accounts. There should be away to alert on emails that post selling history months before the actually account creation. Someone obviously just created the account over the last few days but was able to copy selling history to make it look legit. Astromart needs too do a better job on allowing these types of hack on their batabase.
