The back end of my starbeam has become lose, this is the end that contains the batteries and shines the red dot! Ive tightened all the screws! It is actually the section containing the batteries which attaches to part on which the flip mirror is attached! Anyone else had this problem? Just wondering if anyone out there knows of a quick fix before I contact Televue!

I currently have a TV85 and TV102 and my eventual intention is to have them mounted together preferably side-by-side on a GM mount using one for observing and the other for photography! My first question is, could I do this with a GM8 mount or does it have to be the G11? Secondly, can somebody who perhaps has a similar set-up advise me on exactly what Losmandy parts would I need to mount these scopes side-by-side? Thanks for your time!

Can anyone help me please? I have a TV102 and TV85, my intention is use the 102 for visual and the 85 for photography! I want to place them on a mount sitting either side-by-side (on a dual mounting plate, which I believe Losmandy produce!) or either on top of each other (similar to the picture of the TV76 sitting on top of a 102 in Ed Ting's TV76 scope review!). My question is, can anyone recommend a suitable mount that can 1) take the weight of the two scopes and 2) be able to work in both drives carrying that amount of weight of scopes! I have not as yet really set myself any particular budget for the mount as Im open to suggestions first! I was initially thinking along the lines of a Vixen but I seriously need some advice first! P.S It needs to be a mount which is easy to use/align etc ready for use!

Can anyone tell me if a Vixen GP-DX mount could (or has been) fitted to a Televue Gibraltar mount (obviously with the Telepod head removed!). Would interested if anyone has any pictures of this or info they can pass onto me I would be extremely grateful for!

Can anyone please tell me before I purchase one! If a Lumicon Multiple Filter selector is suitable (or works) with any TV scope (i.e an 85 and a 102?)

I am privilaged to have both the 85 and 102 and I think the 102 has the 'slight' edge over the 85, I observed Jupiter and Saturn the other evening with the 102 and a 22 Panoptic and a x 3 barlow and the views were stunning and I mean STUNNING! Which makes a change as the skies here in the U.K have been appaling just lately! To be honest it dosnt matter which one you choose both are excellent in everyway! Im a double star observer and the 102 appears to have the edge with regard to smaller separation! Hope this helps!
