Nexstar 8 GPS vs. 8 in Meade LX200 GPS

Posted By andy marsh
After much research I am ready to take the $2000 plunge. I plan to use a wedge and Nikon Coolpix 4500 for astrophotography. Which one will I be most happy with?

Thanks,
Andrew

Fastar System on Celestrons

Why doesn't this option make Meade LX200 series obsolete?

Who wouldn't want two telescopes for the price of one!

Celestron CGE Mount

Posted By andy marsh
Just curious if anyone has experience with the new Celestron CGE mount?

Is it comparable to a Losmandy?

Just trying to filter out the hype.

Thanks,
Drew
