recommended tripod for a TV Ranger

Posted By Stuart Lipper

Hi folks:

I'm a newbie who just purchased a TV Ranger to take on a long trip to the SouthWest U.S. in the Summer. I now need to purchase a tripod. Can you give me any good recommendations, and something that won't break the bank?

Thanks.

opinion on Meade Series 4000 Super Plossls

Hi folks,

I'm a newbie, having just purchased a TV Ranger and a telepod. A friend of mine has just gotten a set of the Meades as part of a pretty good promotion for buying a new Meade scope. He doesn't need 'em, and is willing to sell the set to me.

What can you tell me about these eps? Would they be a good match with my Ranger?

Many thanks in advance.

EP recommends for a TV Ranger

Hi folks:

I'm a newbie who just purchased a TV Ranger and Telepod. I've got a Nikon zoom for it, and about $300 more to spend. I also have a TV 2.5 barlow. What do you fine folks recommend I look for in the used category that will give me the most bang for the buck, given my current money limitations?

Many thanks.
