I have the wherewithall to make good photos, but uploading them in a sharp configuration escapes me. The pixel limitation is making things difficult. I have a Mac. Any advice?

This is a much better post of a similar shot I up loaded before, the other being vertical. This shot, like the others is a result of a Contax riding a Televue 85. I took these pictures on a very rare occurrence. A nice blue ship was being turned at the dock, while a migrating flock of White Pelicans took rest in a now dry pool. I treasure this one just for it's fleeting presence.

This shot may be more dramatic, as only the ship and the birds are strong visuals. I had my lens shade fully extended. That causes a slight fall off of light in the corners.
The ship continues to whirl around, the Pelicans oblivous to the changes all around them.

Brien, give it up. There have been no reliable tests done on people who smoke marijuana sans cigarettes. All government recorded warnings on marijuana can only wishfully point to the deep inhaling and reported high pollutants of marijuana smoking over cigarette smoking. The folks I know that smoke marijuana do so occasionally, while tobacco users I know have a hard time keeping their disgusting drug paraphernalia out of their mouths.
The fact is we know the drugs tobacco and Alcohol kill, so why is it so important to outlaw another drug that is a lot more fun, does have medical benefits, and is relatively harmless.
I should mention that our government's drug psychosis keeps the financial benefits of fiber hemp offshore as well.

I just started taking terrestrial pictures with the aid of my scope. It is a 600mm ƒ7. This is quite adequate for daylight, and have taken very good pictures, even under overcast sky.
I've noticed nearly everyone who contributes to the bird and wildlife photo forums use digital cameras through their telescope eyepiece. Many of the photos are wonderful, while some suffer vignetting, and occasionally I notice a digital "glow."
What are the plus and minuses of film camera vs. digital, and what digital cameras work well with scopes?

I've been thinking of this lately. There are a group of characters deeply rooted in European mythology that share characteristics. They are short, stocky, strong, dim witted, big nosed, dressed in skins, cannibals, and live in caves, under bridges, in the woods, and moutain tops. They were known as ogres, dwarves, trolls and more.
It is a little known fact that modern humans and Neanderthals lived an uneasy truce for 30,000 years. Neanderthals were short, stocky, very strong, had very big noses, wore skins, were cannibals, and were cognitivally dim witted.
Is it not possible the eventual winners in this struggle would forever remember their scary counterparts into modernity? Not in an hisorical context, but as survival enhancing tools. There might have been campfire news and rumors events. Later, after the Neanderthal demise, they became enduring myths.
Surely avoiding these comparative brutes was important. Stories of stolen children, bone filled caverns, were probably common in tribal gossip.
