Any tips on welding aluminum. I have small 115V mig welder that I have tried to weld aluminum using argon with little success. I am new to welding and would really like the capability with my telescope projects. I am not sure if it was the type of aluminum used, welder settings, welder or just me. Any advice is very appreciated.

Is the sample 2x3 feet or inches? I think it is inches.
