I'm putting together a "Frankentron" 142 from parts gathered and would like to motorize it. The long term goal will be to pick up an actual Unitron drive but I'm interested in an information on projects that have adapted aftermarket drive motors to the unit.
I'm also building a wooden tripod to match the original (long lost to time) and wonder if anyone has measurements you could share.
I'd appreciate any guidance offered on these projects.
