LX200 Hard Case? Who is "JMI"?

I have a Meade 10" LX200. Was looking at buying the Meade soft case, but have read here that they don't hold up too well. Please advise as to how to get the hard case that I heard about. Somewhere around $500, I believe?

What am I doing wrong?

I have a Meade 10" LX200 Classic, and I can't seem to get the focus as good as some of the pictures I've seen using the same scope. I have a Barlow 140 (2x),and I'm getting kind of frustrated! When I switch from 26mm to 4mm, it sucks! Help!

What's this "two-eyed thingamajig"

Hey Guys,

Can someone tell me where I can get a "thingy" that lets you look through the telescope with both eyes, like you're looking through binoculers. One eye gets rather tiring. I hope no one "cusses" at me for this question. (So many things to waste money on!) Ha!

Keeing Scope in Garage?

Howdy Guys,

I keep my Meade LX200 10" in the garage, so it won't be such a shock to go from air condition to the high humidity we have here. I have a plastic cover over it, but was wondering if this is a good idea. I have a new hard case on order, but was wondering what you veterans think about leaving the scope on the tripod between veiwings.

JMI Motofocus/Mirror Lock Issues

Hey Guys,

I just purchased a JMI Motofocus for my LX200 Classic, and was having a proble with fiting the Motofocus next to the ScopeStuff's Mirror Lock (bolt w/ screw). Any advice from you veterans out there would be appreciated greatly.

Denk 2X worth the expense?

Hey guys,

It's been a while since I have posted, but I'm still out here. I got my new Denk II's in recently, and I have a question. Should I buy the 2X convertor, or is it a waste of money? It was listed in the "book" that came with the Denk's, but I don't want to waste the money unless it's worthwhile.

Also, I have the Pan 19's, and was wondering what you think would be the second set I should buy.

Best Accessory Tray?

What's the best accessory tray for use with the LX200 10"? Where do I order it from?

Also, do I need a Super Wedge if I don't do astrophotograpy, even though I might since I have an OM1, and a digital camera as well? Please advise.
