Hello people! Here is my shot of Saturn. I can't post it in TMB owners Yahoo group, becouse I was banned recently (there was some flame from guy named Weine Gondella toward new Astro-Physics SPL eyepieces. I am new to astro community but after he said that smaller FOV and shorter eyerelieve is better than opposite, offered by AP I could not keep my mouth shot and now suffering consequences despite the fact I spend around 15000$ for TMB products).
Sorry for off-topic, but it still hurts and I believe you can understand victim of the "Star(equipment) Wars".
Also I hope my friends from TMB group will have opportunity to see images here.

Part of Mare Serenitatis with long wrinkle ridges of Smirnov on it and beautiful crater Posidonius. 50% of original size.

Hello, people! This is maybe offtopic, but I didn't find planet observation forum. Me and my buddy Alexander Burukhin at 5:50 UT February 1 have spotted unusialy big feston on NEB near the Big Red Spot. It's almoust reaches SEB, crossing ecvator and look deep blue color to me. Seing conditions are horrible. Maybe 2 of 10. Some time we can't get image on focus, but we have shot couple AVI-files on my TMB-175. and will post images ASAP in photographic section. Jupiter's Big Blue Spot?

Hello folks! Here is Jupiter at 5:50 UT February 1 in horrible atmospheric conditions (2 out 10). Could not take AVI's longer than 20-30 sec, and 3/4 frames just useless. Some times stripes on planet vanished complitely. But big dark blue feston or whatever is that was more visible than Big Red Spot. This is best I could do :

Hello to everyone here! I have an idea compare 250-300mm reflector( SCT ,or Maksutov, or Newtonian???) to 175mm apochromatic refractor. Part one should be at light polluted area (NYC), and another night at darker area. Just sick of all info on the net and have strong intentions to do that with my very own eyes. I am living in Staten Island, N.Y. and great observing site just 5 min from my house. Any interested amatures? Or maybe You know someone in my area?

P.S. By the way we could also compare Baader Mark V binos to Denks or anything else.
