Saturn over Bangkok, Thailand

Posted By Chotechai Piyavongsiri

This is my first attempt with my webcam.
I've been using digicam for a few years before. The result from webcam is much better. I thought it's time to retire my digicam : )

Saturn with QC Pro 4000 and ToUcam Pro

Posted By Chotechai Piyavongsiri

I own both quickcam. Just a quick comparison between both quickcam. In summary, QC4K produces more noise and delivers less outstanding result compared to ToUcam Pro

Need help

Posted By Chotechai Piyavongsiri

I intend to leave my pier and mount outdoor by building a suitable box covering the mount. The box should:
1. prevent inside temp. from not over 100F (Thailand ambient air in summer could be a bit over 104F)
2. withstand heavy rain, will not drip on the mount inside
3. prevent bug
4. low humidity

Any suggestion as to what materials to use, design, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Need help

Now I temporarily cover it by a corrugated paper box with string attached to the leg and then covered by tyvek. The wind will not blow it away, I'm sure. The inside temperature is just less than 100F, which is fine for the electronic circuit inside the mount. But I'm not sure about rain protection.
Need something more robust and protective.
