Yet more hummingbirds

Posted By Don Holcombe

This guy was coming in to the feeder and caught him just right. After a couple of months of 4 birds around the feeders we now have about 10-12. They will drain the feeder in a day.

Re: scopeguard case for sky90?

Posted By Don Holcombe

Hi Dan,

ScopeGuard cases are not the same as competing brands. We build and have always built each and every case on site. The SG/Sky90 case is basically 2.00" longer than the telescope and 2.00" wider than the dew shield. That translates to exterior dimensions of 21.00"L x 6.75"W x 6.75"H (height includes the lid). The inside dimension is 19.00"L x 5.75"W at the dew shield and 3.75" across the tube.

If you have the Sky90 NSV it is 2.00" shorter I think, I do not have the dimensional file on that model at hand.

If you require additional information you can alays contact us directly.

Best Regards,

Saw the TOA-150 today

Posted By Don Holcombe

I saw the new TOA-150 today at LSS/TNR. It is a beauty, a TOA-130 on steroids. The TOA-150 is 38.00" long with the heavy wall dew shield retracted and weighs in at 42 pounds. It will require plenty of mount that's for sure.

Photo attached.
