Chromacor/Denk OCS coexistence...

I'm researching the purchase of a Chromacor for my C6R, on which I also use a Denk Standard binoviewer (with OCS).

Can these coexist?

On the other hand, I'm thinking maybe I'd be better off spending that money on a 10" Newtonian OTA, if what I want to accomplish is getting rid of CA.

I've not used NeXremote, but I do use Cartes du Ciel along with the ASCOM platform to control the scope from my laptop. Both of these pieces of software are free. For $9 in parts from Radio Shack you can make the RS-232 cable to connect the hardware.

I believe that the refractor version of the Dual Arm Power X Switch offers 4x in the high power setting. The other powers are 1.4x, and 2.5x.

What have you bought/sold on Astromart this year

So far I've sold 2 scopes, a zoom EP, and have traded EPs. I've also sold some accessories (finder, filter, focuser, extender, Denk Power Switch). I've purchased a scope and some EPs.
This is the only place I use to buy/sell astro equipment. I check it almost everyday.

In addition to the difference in aperture, you're also trading off chromatic aberration in the refractor versus decrease in contrast in the SCT. Portability is also something else to keep in mind.

I recently sold my C6R and picked up a C9.25S and haven't regretted it.

That all depends on how tolerant you are to Chromatic Abberation (false color). Given the objects you intend to observe, CA isn't so much an issue. However, if you said high power and lunar/planetary work is what you want to do, I'd recommend the ED. My $.02.

Why not consider the Goto version of the CG5? The CG5 and C9.25 is a great combination for visual work.

Another option is to learn how to use the setting circles on your current mount.

Tripod/Head Combo for TMB 80/480

I use a modified Bogen 501 fluid head on a 3021 tripod. The modification (see pic) moves the scope to the level of the pivot point, make balance a non-issue.

NH/VT observing locations?

Jim, the NH Astronomical Society's dark sky site is down the road in Hillsborough. You need to be a member to access it though.

I travel to the Kancamagus Pass (about 15 minutes east of Lincoln on the Kancamagus highway) often to get to 6.5+ NELM skies.
