Hi everybody!
I have bought a Meade 16” LX200 GPS and are now in the construction work of my observatory. I have now reached the point for a decision if I shall mount the telescope alt-azimuth or equatorial. I have read that most prefer the alt-azimuth way. One reason is for the stability and accuracy of the track. Is it any of you how has any experience about it? Shall I go for an alt-azimuth or an equatorial mount of the telescope?
