I have two questions. The mount does not have a dovetail system at present. So I will need three pieces.

Does anyone have any info on a dove tail adapter for the Meade LXD 750 mount? This will be a special plate for the Meade mount.

Which DT system will handle a 40 Lbs scope? I will need both the saddle and dovetail plates.

TIA,

I need info on cutting down a Meade super gaint tripod (w/4 inch legs). Mainly info on the procedure and what to expect to find once I cut off the legs.
