Messier marathon - the next level?

Do you aware of anyone who completed a Messier marathon by memory alone?

What is your experience with the dwarf galaxy -leo 1 (right above regulus about 1/3 deg).
it is chalenging because of regulus's glair.

Note the considerable WEIGHT diference between 12 and 14 SCT (tube and tripod). so if you plan to move your scope around thet is somthing to consider that might outweight the apertuere difference.

First attempt? without guiding? moon?
WOW ! thet is a very good image !
the stars are pinpoint without any coma so your scope must be well polar alighn and the tracking is very accurate.

Well done !

120ED vs. 111EDT

Hi.

The AT111 uses FPL51 and it is TMB designd.

I owen one for a month already and tested the scope on various targets - wide field, plenetary and double stars. I can say that this scope did not show any CA even on Sirus up to X300. views are very sharp and using the scope for planetary and especialy double star work is a pleasure.
Mechanicaly the scope is also graet . very solid foucuser that do not give mutch to the FT I have on my GENESIS SDF .

I have no relation nor any other interest to the company who makes it or sells it ....
