Hi, can anyone help. I recently purchased a ZS66 and am finding it difficult to focus. The problem is when using the SCT diagonal I cannot focus inwards enough and when using the 1.25" adapter even with the 2"EP extension I cannot get enough reward travel. These scopes have obviously been designed for the 2" Diagonal and a certain range of EP's. I would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has experienced similar difficulties. Thanks Don P. Hello to you all from New Zealand, I have just recently purchased a Mewlon 180 and have been reading with interest the comments in this forum.In one particular thread a suggestion was made to seriously look at the quality of the EP's being used.It seems only fitting to have EP's of a quality to match that of the optics.This is where my knowledge lets me down.Having owned 8 and 10" SCT's and refractors I am left with 16 and 9mm Naglers and a set of Ultima's. I would be greatfull for any advice and perhaps some guidance on possible options.My first impressions of the Mewlon 180 have left me thinking that I will have this one for some time. There really is a difference between average and above average optics. I may not be able to do much about my 49 year old eyes but I still want the best image reaching them. Many thanks, Don.

Hello to all. I have an original single speed drive model and was wondering whether these can be upgraded to the newer multi speed unit. Is it the same motor etc and can you simply purchase the newer hand set. Also, when I purchased this off a fellow astromarter a year or so back my research showed this model with a load capacity of around 13lbs. I see now that they are advertised with a capacity of 20lbs. Is this perhaps tied up with the newer drive unit or has it simply been raised because of its performance.I have a Mewlon 180 sitting on it and it certainly feels at the top of its visual performance. Perhaps even this is too much.Thanks, Don in NZ
