Is there anyone selling 2" 3X barlow?

Hi all,

I have been trying to find a brand that sells 2" 3X barlow but haven't got any luck. The nearest is the 4X Powermate which cost an arm and a leg.

Anyone here knows where can I find one?

Where to buy a 10" short fl. reflector?

Hi Guys,

I have been checking around, it seems that there isn't anyone offering just a 10" short fl. reflector OTA. I am looking at around f/4 - f/4.5 for photography purposes.

If you guys know of anyone/manufacturer selling just the OTA, please let me know.

How to make an artificial star?

Hi gang,

I was tinkering with the idea of making an artificial star myself. I can get my hands on bright white LEDs, can most probably make a box for it too, but how big should the hole be?

Anyone here has experience doing this? If I use the smallest drill bit, say 1/32" to make that hole, is that too big or too small?

Televue SCT adaptor. Is it firm and tight?

Hi guys,

I have a WO SCT 2" diagonal and I love this thing. It screws onto the SCT rear cell and it's tight and firm. However, I am buying a refractor soon, and I was thinking of using a refractor-type diagonal with a TV SCT adaptor on the SCT. This way I can avoid having two diagonals.

My question is, will the TV SCT adaptor clams down the refractor-type diagonal as strong as the SCT diagonal? Also, can this TV SCT adaptor be used on other non-TV diagonals? I have no problem clearing the base and stuff because I am using the SCT on a EQ-mount. But I do have heavy loads at the end and last I want is the diagonal dropping out from the SCT adaptor.

I need a 2" adaptor that could slip into a 2" refractor focuser, but has SCT thread at the other end. This way, I can use all my SCT accessories on the refractor...
