I recently purchased a used STV. So far I can't find a cable to connect its RS232 Port (DB9) with my Presario's USB port. Radio Shack's cable won't work.

Can someone tell me which manufacture of cable supports the STV's data transfer?

Hello,

I would like to start processing astro images I've obtained with an old STV camera. For starters I'd like to learn basic techniques without spending a wad. Older Adobe Photoshop software seems like a good bet, but I don't know which types would be appropriate.

I see used Photoshop software at reasonable prices ($50- 150) but would appreciate some advise on choosing.
