Looking for a rated person on Astromart who would be willing to assist in a transaction where the seller is unrated and located in Boulder. I'm the buyer and don't want to send $$ and risk being burned. I know this is off-topic but I am out of other ideas.

I have a Sirius 7' dome w/the auto-rotating equip and a Meade 12" LX200 GPS UHTC. The dome is sitting in my barn at my ranch, right where I put it when I first brought it home over 2 yrs ago (it's not perfect, but very close). The LX 200 is sitting in the house, where it has not been used for over a year (used a total of about 6 times).
My wife won't let me put the dome where I want and need to put it ("it will spoil the view, Honey"). The reality is that I am not ever going to be able to use this stuff on a consistent basis. I first thought of selling, but them I got the idea of maybe donating it to a worthy organization (must be 501c qualified). My ranch is in Central Texas close to Waco. Anyone have any suggestions as to who might be a worthy recipient? Please forgive if this is the wrong place to be posting this.
