Intes Micro M50

Anyone out there who has experience with the Intes Micro M50. I am interested in comments regarding optical quality, mechanical quality and fit and finish. I am looking for a good, portable Mak. I have had the TEC 6 and would like something a bit smaller(and cheaper)! Thanks.

Anyone have any experience with this little modified MAK. I am looking for a light, cheap grab and go with a bit of apeture and this is the same price as the Orion Starmax 102. Any thoughts? Thanks, Jack

Anyone with experience on the Intes Micro M500D

I wondered if any one out there has used the new Intes Micro M500D 127mm F10 Mak. I'm thinking of buying one as a nice grab and go. I would be interested in optics (advertised as 1/8 wave), mechanics( I have heard some of the Russian scopes are weak in this regard)as well as fit and finish(any plastic?) I have owned a TEC 6, so I know what a good Mak is, and also a Starmax 127, a good value. Is this scope closer to the TEC or the Orion?

Vixen Polaris Question

I just picked up a Vixen Polaris and wondered how to connect a telescope with a dovetail style plate to it. I can see how you can connect rings, but not a regular dovetail. I notice Losmandy has an adaptor for the Polaris, but I am not sure what it is for. Any ideas would be helpfull. Thnaks, Jack

Resident Evil-An Under Rated Classic?

This is really a great sci-fi movie, IMO. I'm curious what fellow astromarters think about this under rated classic and the sequel. The third edition comes out next week, starring the beautiful Milla Jovovich! wink
