You do not indicate whether a revealing photo accompanied the ad. If there were no photo, you should have asked for one from the seller. Some times an ad which does not have a photo is not an oversight. If your concerns are not addressed in the ad, you are the one that needs to pursue them to your satisfaction and not merely assume that 'everything will be fine.'

The best solution I've found is taking bilberry extract; it helps tired eyes that have been busy in front of a computer monitor or just being open, for that matter. Bilberry was taken by British airmen in WWII for night flying missions to improve their night vision.

You can buy bilberry at Wal Mart (it's not expensive) or splurge and buy what seems to be an even more effective extract at any health food store, if you wish to part with about $20 for a bottle of capsules (I've done both). It works for me...I'm 52 and suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis, and it's in my eyes too; I take bilberry with each meal, and pop a couple before going out to view. I notice increased sensitivity at night, and my eyes will not burn and sting...hope this helps.

I made the mistake of not asking for a photo of a 27 Pan for sale by an established, long time Amart member in good standing. Ad said something like 'great shape,' in all fairness I can't quite recall the exact words used now; it was my first (now deleted) Amart purchase. Having a photographic/darkroom background I'm quite aware what constitutes 'clean.' This ep had extensive wear on the barrel as if it had been through a compression fitting about 1000 times or so, and the glass looked as if it had lived in a haystack. I cleaned it up and it functions fine, and valuable lesson was revisited: your idea of clean/great may not be mine.

The easiest way to go about that on Amart is to indicate what you purchased when filling out a rating for the transaction. That way if the ad is deleted you will still have a tangible record of your transactions and as your ratings accumulate it will be much easier to navigate through them.

Investing a couple of $$ in a good flapper (as opposed to the cheapest thing you can pick up) is always a good investment. Might want to check the seat the flapper sits on, run your finger around it: it should be smooth, not rough, else the flapper can't seat on it like it is supposed to. If you have hard water, deposits can get in the way; sometimes if it's not too bad you can use deliming agents on the flapper seat as opposed to a replacement. Good luck!

Blake - I suggest you review Astromart's Terms of Service (accessible from the box on the left side of the Astromart page 'About Astromart'). Halfway down the page is 'Prohibitions' (15.2) which states: (h) Any item/s that are placed on any other site for sale at the same time it is offered on AstroMart™.
You run the risk of having your Astromart account terminated by running ads simultaneously on Fleabay.
