Home from the Black Forest Star Party

Hi Dave,

I concur 100%. This was my first BFSP and can't wait to go back to Cherry Springs. Haven't been under skies like these in years.
Oh by the way, I'm setting a battery backup for the 32" so I don't have a repeat of Sat. night.(battery ran down cause I left the drive on after shutting down Fri.,DUH).

Hopefully we can return in Oct. or Nov. before the really cold weather, snow sets in.

The Almost Black Forest Star Party 2007

Hi Dave,

Glad to read that your Dad is home recuperating & wish him well. I was wondering how he was managing after you left on Fri.
I'm planning on returning in Oct., weather permitting, so if things improve enough at home maybe you can make another trip & join us.
BTW, the view of Stephan's Quintet w/ the Ethos/32" on Sat. was by far the best I've ever seen it.
