Just to add an up note. I had my LX200 serviced at Meade after it was damaged by the shipping company. The scope is better than new including a refinished paint job on the tube and was done just as the folks at Meade said it would be. It was finished in on time and shipped back inside the three week time quoted. The only thing is to remove anything you do not wish to have replaced as the Bob's knobs did not come back with it. Sigh. Considering the amount of damage and the refinished tube I can live with this

Meade 2080 GEM Mont

I have a 2080 GEM mount I just got. The
problem is that I have no docs or a way to know how to power the drives. The controller for the Meade drive has two plugs, and I wonder if one or both is for power and how to hook it up? If anyone has any insight, or a picture, or perhaps a manual for these mounts I would gladly pay the cost to obtain a copy.

So far it seems that the image can be nicely massaged with Photoshop thanks to Lee. Also vignetting seems to be the evil here, and flats are the answer. I need to read on flats, and have at it. To all of you kind folks who have responded so far much thanks.
