I have a question I hope someone can help me with. Will Synta R.A. and Dec. drives mount to my Vixen Super Polaris? The box they came in has a sticker on back that says "EQ4". I've tried to match up the mounting holes, but nothing wants to fit! Any help is greatly appreciated. Stan A.

I own an MN56 with a JMI focuser. My problem is that this focuser is anything but 'buttery smooth'. At room temp. it is smoother, but still has a 'catch'. As it gets colder, the movement becomes stickier. The slower it is turned, the more pronounced the 'catch' becomes. Any suggestions from other JMI owners would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

does anyone know how to collimate a mn56 maksutov-newtonian? is it necessary to offset the secondary? appreciate any help.

Help!! I need someone to advise me or point me in the right direction for the collimation procedure on the secondary for my MN56. I am totally in the dark, and could someone kindly help me out here! Thanks for any assistance..
