Meade 16" Starfinder Newtonian

Any one have any experience with the Meade Startfinder 16" on the Newtonian mount? I might have an opportunity to purchase one in the near future. Someone told me Meade discontinued this scope and they are no longer sold new.

A C8 OTA for $135 shipped - Needs collimation. Surely this is too good to be true.

Hi Jim

Where did you pick up the birch plywood locally? Home Depot or Lowe's? Or did you go to a local lumber yard?

Also the truss poles, who did you end up with as a supplier?

Did you look at any pre-fab parts from Astrosystems?

I'll probably see you guys at the GLSG this year.

Do I really have an LX90 LNT

On page 6 is a pic of the scope showing the LNT module attached.

My guess is the previous owner is just advertising what it says on the box with out fully understanding what LNT means. Was he the original owner or selling for someone else?
