Replacement for Fuji Provia 400F

Posted By Andy MacKenzie

Just learned on another forum (thanks Cameran!) that there is a replacement for Fuji Provia 400F. It is called Fuji Provia 400X (see http://www.fujifilm.com/JSP/fuji/epartners/PREventDetailPage.jsp?DBID=NEWS_845110&CAT_ID=-1007 for specs).

Anyone heard anything about how this emulsion performs compared to its predecessor/tried it out for themselves?

Stephans Quintet - No Bug

80 minutes manually guided??!!! That shows some dedication. You've achieved a very good result for your efforts. Just glad the bug didn't block off all of the galaxies in the FOV. grin

Superb shot. Nicely framed. There's a certain magic about shots of B33 taken on B/W film. Very well done.

A very impressive & dramatic set of pictures Allen.

On the question of light pollution filters, well many companies make 1.25" & 2" LPR's to fit into the barrell of eyepieces. I know that, in addition to this IDAS supply LPR's with threads for common camera lenses (e.g. 48mm, 49mm, 52mm, 55mm, 58mm, 62mm etc.) but these come at a price!

Nicely detailed shot Jim. How was it guided?
