Didn't know which forum to post in; what are your favorite free downloads of astro software, that will print charts showing Messiers, NGC's, & location?
I've spent too much money on programs, only to find AFTER buying them that they were either too complicated, or didn't do what I needed.

Tent observatory?

Anyone have an idea for a small portable tent-type that can be used on a deck for a portable observatory? It would have to have at least 5' height for a Dob.
Any ideas most welcome.

Stars on one of my ratings didn't show

A very kind individual gave me a glowing rating, even mentioned 5 stars; however, no stars showed up on that rating; now my overall rating is less than perfect. I have contacted him, but even if he reposts a rating, that one without any stars will still bring my overall rating down; anything that can be done to rectify it?
