Any thoughts on good to great Pack & Go setups that can be checked at the airport or carried on?

I need something I can travel with so I'm guessing it has to go in a JMI case or something simalar. I'm hoping to learn from your experience rather than learn the hard and $$ way. Thanks!

While viewing M29 at 112x something flew through the FOV. It had that look of a fast moving satellite, or maybe a small meteor. I studied StarryNight Pro at this time and place for a possible identity, no luck. Any other suggestions for making such identifications?

Or maybe someone here saw it too? What are the chances?

We finally had three good hours for viewing here in Detroit.

You have probably see the advertising, have you seen the product? Sky & Telescope 7 Decades Collection looks appealing for a library, how about for home use? Has anyone here tried it?

Just wondering if it should be on my Christmas list.

Clear Skies!
