Richard Crisp did one of these. It is a pretty tough one
to capture, even from florida. This is about 6 hours in each Ha SII and OIII.
the OIII really comes through strong.

Waiting until 2016 sounds a bit surreal.

How long has AP been running with this kind of backlog on their refractors?

They are.

There were some changes to the TOA 130, which were announced in Japan a month or so back.
Who knows there are probably more.

I hope they aren't making another $3,000 85mm refractor 8O

TMB 130SS vs NP-101

I've heard pretty good things about the TMB. If you are looking for info on the flatness of field, I'd suggest joining the forum at CCDWare. In their CCDInspector forum there is information on dozens of scope/camera combos. I think most of us end up chasing focal length to tighten up images. This would be a nice step up.

The TOA is advertised as being able to handle heavy loads. It is a feature
