Wonderful. I just finished processing my version with the same orientation and your version confirms my suspicion of galaxies in the frame. Your version leaves no doubt. Are you planning adding RGB data?

When I first heard this I had the same reaction but then I thought about the context.  Since it's Dallas the message may be "Folks,  you aren't taking dvantage of your 2nd amendment rights enough"

I feel for the scientists involved but a little piece of me rejoices by knowing it's not just me who experiences  their gear hanging up once in a while.   Seriously I hope they get it fixed because that would be a great loss.

Next Tuesday the residents of California have the opportunity to elect its first African American governor.  Based on the historic election of president Barak Obama,  Larry Elder should win in a landslide.  I don't live there but was wondering what the folks who do feel bout this.

Chris

It shouldn't matter what he said or did in the past.  This is California's chance to show America and the rest of the world that it is not racist be electing its first African American governor.  In the wake of all the riots and protests from BLM this is a momentous opportunity to begin the healing.

The whole purpose of the original post was to illustrate the simple truth behind the democratic party and the liberal leaders behind it.

They will pick a topic or issue that many people can get behind (Climate change, systemic racism, etc.).  Who wouldn't want get behind these?  Then it starts.  policies and legislation are written to  rally against the atrocities and as a result  rights are chipped away.  This is done to create division by labeling and demonizing those who oppose.

Does this sound familiar.  Ask someone who would point out that that yes it was murder but Michael Brown was no choir boy.  That person now has trouble getting a job as a janitor somewhere because the wrath of social media pretty much castrated him.

Now we have a situation where the liberal movement has the opportunity to put its money where its mouth is in Larry Elder, an African American running for governor in the largest liberal represented state in the nation.

The simple truth about the democratic party and the liberals behind it is this: It's NEVER about the issue but the ability to USE the issue to gain power while silencing the opposition.  If you doubt this then just look at the coverage of Larry Elder.

From what I read it simply eliminates the mandate however it says nothing about infringing in the right for those who wish to chose to continue to want to wear a mask as a precaution.

With regard to wearing a seatbelt.  There is enough evidence for me to conclude wearing a seatbelt will benefit me and I don't need someone else to tell me so.

Here in NE Florida it's $3.33 a 67% increase over the $1.99 less than 2 years ago

I'm not defending McCarthy's plan but do you think it is a bad idea to rein in the out of control spending by the federal government?  I don't care which party does the spending, I think it's wrong to think we can spend without regard to where the money comes from.  None of us on this forum would willfully do that with our own households, i think we can agree on that.

Tax revenue has gone up almost 70% (69.4%) in the past decade, $2.78T in 2013 and projected $4.71T in 2023.

Federal spending has gone up (according to proposed budget) 109%, $2.77T in 2013 and projected $5.8T this year.

Before someone says we need higher tax rates lets take a look at GDP for the same period of time

The US economy grew 51% through 2022 (we don't have final figures for 2023 yet).

Productivity went up 51% revenue went up 70%.  this says the more taxes are already being collected at a higher rate.

The answer is clear that spending absolutely needs to be curtailed.

I got all figures from US Bureau of Statistics
