do i need collimation?

i have a c6 sct with xlt starbright coatings when i look at a star i have a glare goin away in one direction.when looking at saturn i could only focus half the planet farily clear .is this caused from collimation?

which scope is better for use

im just starting out in astronmy . i have a digital camera that i wanna use to capture shots of the moon. which scope is better for photography ? a 6in. sct or a 8in. newt.also which would be better for a ccd imager .and i dont have a lot of money,but is the celestron neximage ccd a good starter camera?will it work for any deep space objects?

is there a way to recoat the outer lens on an 6in.schmidt? i think i cleaned it with plain glass cleaner also,how much does it cost? thanks
