I just bought a G-11 with Goto here on Amart.
I have read that the motors are happier on 18v.
I have a 12v 30amp dc supply that outputs 13.8v unloaded.
Will this be good enough?
I really don't want to spend anymore $$$ right now! I'm in the middle of my Observatory construction.

Has anyone but me noticed that certain individuals delete their ad and repost it when it starts to move down the list- Why is this tolerated??, I would assume its not supposed to be done??

Have you considered the Astrotech voyager?
It has a fairly high weight capacity 20#s
I have one and like it alot.
You would be able to balance it out for any eye pc(you may have to slide the scope back and forth a bit if you switch between a small plossel and a heavy WFOV)
Edit- I forgot to mention its pretty light and portable!
