My Meade 12" was made more portable with my buggy. I can wheel it in the house and down the street if I want.....put a drawer from a night stand in back..( mini bar! ) I strap the battery on for the ride..finished today...cloudy tonite...what do you guys think?

Has anyone built one of these? I have been trying unsuccessfully for a couple of weeks..I must be missing something....

I'm looking at the same camera...but which pixel chip does your camera use, 10..15? And how much does that matter with the same other features of the Cannon?

here's a pic of the underside..just a swivel wheel from Harbor Freight ($12) lag screws into the 2x4's. I pull it with an aluminum cane handle from the second hand store. A short stool works well for most but zenith...low center of gravity and the kid's don't need to climb up anything to see...for me it solved the need to lift scope on tripod. I wheel it all over the house and out all my doors...perfect for a dob. I have spent some time figuring out easy levelers....still a work in progress...
