Like many the range of my Sky Portal WiFi is only a very few feet and then it disconnects. Has anyone tried to extend
the range by using some sort of Wifi signal range booster or repeater. I see a bunch of them for sale but not sure if this would work by putting one near the mount to pick up the signal from the Sky Portal and send it along to my ipad. Has anyone tried anything like this or have any ideas as to how to extend the range?

has anyone had any experience with extending the range of the Celestron Sky Portal WiFi. Like many the range on mine is only a very few feet. Has anyone tried a WiFi booster or repeater. I was thinking of perhaps getting something like that and installing it near my CGEM and see if it would boost the WiFi signal so I could locate my ipad further away. Any ideas about extending the range of that WiFi signal?
