I have just got into this telescope thing, Bought an 8"sct celestron adv. I am looking for an eyepiece for wide view not so much power. I have bought a 32 celsrton ultima(pretty nice). a Meade 18mm uwa(okay), just purchased a 20 mm type5 nagler and a 16mm same type 5 and also have a 13 mm nagler. What larger eyepiece would be best for this scope>>>>Thanks for all the help...Terry

changing scopes

I am buying an 11" carbon fiber OTA from HAP IN HERE.I was using the sct8" because of the different light gathering abilities how should that affect eyepiece. I have a celestron Ultima 32mm,20mm nagler type5,16mm nagler type 6, MEADE 18MM SWA THAT i WILL BE SELLING, AND LASTLY A 13MM NAGGER TYPE6,,FOR LOOKING AT PLANETS CLOSE UP AND GALAXIES AND STUFF LIKE THAT WHAT SHOULD i BE 8) ADDING...i ALSO HAVE A 2"POWER MATE FROM TELEVUE

plus GOING FROM AN 8 TO AN 11 HOW MUCH BETTER ARE THE VIEWS GOINT TO BE????bigger????brighter???CAN'T WAIT TO GET IT

I have just bought an 11" celestron and wondering about 2 eyed viewing Some of the binos are relatively cheap while others are WOW 8O I was looking at the williams optics one comes with 2 eyepieces as well. anyone try this one??And what would be the best eyepieces for looking @ nebulae and planets???Terry

adapter plate???

I have the celestron advanced 8" and just bought an 11" ota with a losamady dovetail...trouble is the eq-5 dovetail is much smaller. Is there an adapter plate???or how can I mount this 11" on the old mount???Terry

I am just getting into this field and love it...I was wondering how the pictures shown say in anacortes gallery will compare with the view thru the eyepiece. I do know that the color will not be there but what about the size and detail????Thanks Terry
