I'm thinking of purchasing Meade's zero image-shift focuser (#1209) for my C8. Anyone have any comments on the quality of this unit?

I have a GM8 mounted C8. The OTA with accessories weighs 14 lbs, and the 7 lb weight included with the mount is at the limit of the counterweight bar. I am considering a 15 lb Casady weight so I have more adjustment available. Is it necessary to include a portion of the counterweight when calculating the total instrument weight being supported?
