I ordered the 80mm binocular telescope last month from Orion there on backorder untill 8-16-04.
Has anybody had any experience with the 80mm binocular
telescope?

Orion's SkyView Pro Equatorial Mount

Has anyone used this mount?
I have a Meade model 102 ACHR/500 4" Refractor
F920mm F9 i'am thinking about buying this mount for.
Orion doesn't give the height of this mount extended.

ED 80 Performance Update !!!

I was lucky too i got one of the first of the fifty scopes
sold and it was a keeper.
I have it mounted on a Meade LXD 500B tripod.

Fewer Orion Superwides

Darren Orion shows the 8mm-13mm-17mm and 22mm on there web
site and i see the prices has gone up too.
I have the 3.5mm-5mm-8mm-13mm-17mm and 22mm and i use the
40mm UO Konig MK-70.
All are great eyepieces.
I bought three of the Vixen Lanthanum 65 degree eyepieces
from University Optics. There the same eyepieces as the
Orion Lanthanum Superwide.

Harold check out Beam of light Technolgies for a green laser.
I have one and our club has one too.
Cheaper than Orion and and great service too.

Binocular Chair

Tom i drove down to Lowes this morning and pick up this chair.
It has a weight limit of 250 lbs.
All i need now is clear skies in Ohio to try it out with my binocular's.

RA-88-SA Binoculars

Al, just check with UPS Tracking my
RA-88-SA Binoculars are on the truck
and i will have them this afternoon.
They are calling for 1 or 2 inches
of rain today in Ohio, but we need
it.
Can't wait untill a clear night to
try them out.
